Description

The Strata STG12 12V Cordless Tungsten Grinder is a compact, portable solution for accurately sharpening TIG tungsten electrodes on site or in the workshop. Designed for fabricators, engineers, and welders, it delivers consistent grind angles with repeatable results, without the need for a bench grinder.

The STG12 easily sharpens tungsten electrodes from 1.0 mm to 3.2 mm diameter, producing clean, centred points with selectable grinding angles. Adjustable angle settings of 10°, 15°, 20°, 22.5°, and 25° allow you to match electrode geometry to material type, amperage, and welding position.

Powered by a 12V lithium-ion battery, the Strata STG12 offers cordless convenience with enough power for plenty of long shifts and regular TIG preparation work. Variable speed control lets you adjust grinding speed based on tungsten condition, improving finish quality and diamond wheel life.
